Alrighty then.  For those who care or are just curious, here's the skinny:  my life has been absolutely topsy-turvy since I wrote last!  Since the Summer of 2004 I have graduated college, took up an biomedical research internship at a top institution, worked my butt off and published some stuff (some of it is still in the works), left that internship, moved, and started graduate school seeking a PhD in Biochemistry, Molecular, and Cell Biology.   

I have to say that it's definitely been keeping me busy.  It's not that I never have a moment to myself, but when I do, I am so intellectually and creatively drained that I just can't do anything artistic.  Although I do fantasize about all the great pics I'll make someday....

So, all artistic endeavors are on hold for me right now--my gallery here and my website.  I want to say that over winter break that maybe I'll be able to at least upload some "old" stuff, but I can't even promise that seeing as I'm working then too.

But don't despair (like anyone was...)!  I feel optimistic and that I shall return to my favorite hobby soon (hopefully no more than two years at the most!); once I'm adjusted to the graduate student life and settle into my thesis lab.  I refuse to give up on drawing forever!!!

Thanks to all that have visited my gallery and website, left me comments, and faved my pictures--I really appreciate it and it encourages me to keep coming back to art!
